Crisis Ministry Network of the Union County Baptist Association
Purpose: A cooperative ministry of the churches of the Union County Baptist Association to assist residents of Union County with resources to help in times of crisis; doing so in the love of Jesus Christ.
Requirements to Apply for Assistance:
- Obtain a referral form from a UCBA Church.
- Be a verified resident of Union County.
- A current SC Driver's License or Personal ID card showing your current address in Union County.
- Copies of any household income including - but not limited to: most recent paycheck stub, Disability/SSI, Power/Rental Assistance, Food Stamps, etc.
Assistance Given and Necessary Documentation:
- POWER BILLS - We will assist with only PAST-DUE bills. Must have the ORIGINAL bill. No copies will be accepted. The name and address on the bill MUST match the name & address of the person's ID requesting assistance.
- RENT ASSISTANCE - You must have a written statement from your landlord stating your name, address, the amount of rent you pay per month, and the amount you are behind. The statement must also have the landlord's name, mailing address, email address, and phone number.
Frequency of Assistance
- POWER BILLS - One time per year
- RENT ASSISTANCE - One time per year
NO ONE CAN BE ASSISTED FOR ANY REASON MORE THAN SIX TIMES IN THEIR LIFETIME.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO PERMANENTLY DISCONTINUE ASSISTANCE DUE TO UNCOOPERATIVE OR DECEPTIVE BEHAVIOR.

We assist people ONLY on the following days and times:
WEDNESDAY - 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
