Crisis Ministry Network
of the Union County Baptist Association
Purpose: A cooperative ministry of the churches of the Union County Baptist Association to assist residents of Union County with resources to help in times of crisis; doing so in the love of Jesus Christ.
Requirements to Apply for Assistance
- Be a bonafide resident of Union County
- Have a Referral Form - Referral forms are secured through one of the Baptist Churches in our Association. Numbers are in the Yellow Pages. Call the church before going to check specific days and times that referral forms are distributed.
- A current SC Driver's License or Personal ID card showing your current address in Union County.
Assistance Given and Necessary Documentation
- POWER BILLS - We will assist with only PAST DUE bills. Must have the ORIGINAL bill. No copies will be accepted. The name and address on the bill MUST match the name & address of the person's ID requesting assistance.
- RENT ASSISTANCE - You must have a written statement from your landlord stating your name, address, the amount of rent you pay per month, and the amount you are behind. The statement must also have the landlord's name, address, and phone number
- FOOD - A list of all active food banks in Union County will be provided upon request
Frequency of Assistance
- POWER BILLS - One time per year
- RENT ASSISTANCE - One time per year
- NO ONE CAN BE ASSISTED FOR ANY REASON MORE THAN SIX TIMES IN THEIR LIFETIME.
